Finally Home

It was a long day.  As stated in the previous post, we showed up at 11:45a for our 1p surgery.  Unfortunately, the woman having surgery before us had an unexpected basketball-size(!!!) tumor removed through a tiny incision, which took the surgeon quite some time to perform.  Kim was rolled back to the OR around 4:30, in recovery around 5:45, and released around 8.

Kim is resting, heavily medicated, and doing fine.  She’s still a little woozy from the anesthesia, but she made it through the surgery with no problems.  We have many cool pictures of her insides now, and the doctor found nothing scary.  We are thankful, and resting at home with Jango.

Thanks again to all of our friends and family for your prayers!

Praise God! Kinda weird, but it would be cool to see the pictures… Much love and prayers for successful recovery. ~Shelley
